Last weekend The Fiveways rocked, Jurassic Fields Music Festival shone and Grooves was fun despite the clouds… thanks loads to all those who came and made playing so much fun. We like this little quote from Bridport & Lyme Regis News about our performance at Jurassic Fields, “but the first group to get people on their feet and getting involved was Weymouth’s The Mother Ukers.” Okay, geographically inaccurate by around 40 miles, but what’s an hour’s drive between friends?
This weekend begins on Friday with a return trip to Pennington Sports & Social Club’s Annual Beer Festival. Located in Lymington their website has all the info about their festivities over the weekend, including our performance which starts at 8pm. Come on down, enjoy their great range of beers & ciders and two hours of the finest Ukular Fusion.
Saturday afternoon takes us to The Broadway for a Live & Local Cider Festival, sponsored by Bulmers. Live music from 3 – 9pm with our one-hour set starting at 4.30. Then we’re heading up to Weston-Super-Mare to once more enjoy the fine hospitality at The Bear Inn. We’re on at 9, for more info take a look at their facebook event.
Free entry to all these events!
